Senior Auditor

Your primary focus will be participating in the development of detailed audit plans, supervising audit team members in the field work and conclusion of engagements, successfully completing auditing engagements, and working with our clients to assist them in reaching their business goals.

Qualified candidates must have one to three years as a senior auditor, CPA's only, industry experience in one of the following industries required: Health Care, Life or P&C Insurance, Not for Profit or Construction Contractors, large firm experience a plus. Must be willing to travel.

Staff Auditor

Responsibilities:
Perform detailed audit procedures on financial statement account balances
Prepare and adjust work papers from clients’ trial balance
Identify potential management letter comments
Research accounting issues
Recognize potential problem areas in specific engagements and discuss them with engagement supervisor
Participate in the engagement planning process
Perform other accounting, auditing, and consulting duties as needed in engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel
Assume full responsibility (under supervision) for preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements
Assist with more complicated segments of audit and accounting engagements
Draft annual financial statements, including footnote disclosures
Become proficient at preparing financial statements using the firm’s software programs.

Requirements:
~ 1-3 years with a medium sized CPA firm
~ Accounting Degree and CPA preferred
~ Strong general accounting - audit background
~ Solid PC and top notch communication skills!
