Mr. Benham received his B.S. in Accounting, from the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, Mississippi in May of 1971. He joined RCCO in 1980 and is currently a shareholder and the partner in charge of Roberts, Cherry and Company in Ridgeland, Mississippi.

Through the course of his career in public accounting, Benham has developed special expertise in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, Community Mental Health Centers, Medicare/Medicaid Reimbursement, Not-for-Profit Health Care Organizations, and Estate and Gift Planning.

Mr. Benham is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AIPCPA), the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants, the Louisiana Nursing Home Association, the Mississippi Health Care Association and the Healthcare Management Association. He is a past member of the AICPA’s Technical Issues Committee, Peer Review Committee, and the Auditing Standards Board Task Force.

Along with his wife, Susan, they are members of the Chapel of the Cross in Madison, Mississippi. They are actively involved in the Day in the Country Festival, Stewpot Community Services, Sunnybrook Children’s Home, and World Vision International.
