Mr. Shaw is a 1964 graduate of Centenary College, Shreveport, Louisiana where he earned his BS in accounting. Shaw also completed graduate courses in the Louisiana State University MBA program. In October, 2002, he merged his successful, individual CPA practice of thirty years into the Roberts Cherry Group.

During his career in public accounting, he has received specialized training in governmental accounting and auditing. His areas of focus also include oil and gas entities, not for profits, employee benefit plans, construction contractors and financial institutions.

Shaw is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (Past President – Shreveport Chapter) and is licensed to practice in Texas as well as Louisiana.

Along with his wife, Marlene, Mr. Shaw lives in Shreveport, Louisiana. They are members of the Broadmoor Baptist Church and are involved in various community activities.
